When the left can’t win the debate they either walk away or go for an emotional angle. Oh, they’re sad about something and the rest of us have to stop in our tracks.
The poll makes her sad. So we have to allow an incompatible way of life to overwhelm ours so she won’t be sad?
The poll makes her sad. So we have to tolerate child marriage so she won’t be sad?
The poll makes her sad. So we have to allow Female Genital Mutilation so she won’t be sad?
The poll makes her sad. So we have to face an increased risk of terrorism so she won’t be sad?
When the left can’t win the debate they either walk away or go for an emotional angle. Oh, they’re sad about something and the rest of us have to stop in our tracks. Never mind they don’t actually back their argument up, the rest of us are supposed to stop making them sad by no longer presenting facts since the left can’t dispute them. What’s really sad though is how many on the left refuse to discuss the issues and arbitrarily dismiss the legitimate concerns people have.
As far as this not being ‘the Australia that they know’, they need to get out more and break away from their own little world where all agree without question and look at what’s really happening. Europe has refugees running out of control raping women and there are terrorists attacking them. And for those who say it can’t happen here, it already is. The Lindt Café siege in Sydney and the major crime wave hitting Melbourne is the proof.
The left can refuse to see what’s really happening and resort to walk-outs, excuses and name calling from a safe distance but it won’t stop the rest of us from addressing the real issues we’re facing.
